i have always wanted to get into music production but it was admittedly an area that i had little knowledge. after the success of the aloha life film, i was inspired by the spirit of aloha to create a cd of hawaiian chants. i figured since this was all new to me, i would check out other chanting cds and see what there was out there. this is how i discovered the legendary ried kapo ku of na manupo music. his first cd, eia mai ka la, featured hawaiian chants and original hawaiian songs. i sent him a message via myspace and we quickly developed a friendship that has developed into a partnership.

in october 2008, after many months of outlining our first projects, kapo and i joined alika medeiros and legendary guitarist jim "kimo" west to record our first two cds - na oli aloha and aloha meditation. na oli aloha is an album of hawaiian chants - some ancient, some original - featuring kapo and members of his 'ohana. aloha meditation is a guided meditation with hawaiian spiritualist alika medeiros.

since then, I have to admit that I have the record producer bug.  I am working on some slack key guitar projects, with kimo, plus another hawaiian music cd with kapo.
